Leslie B. Kuerbitz, MA, LPC, (Ret) is a retired Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 30 years of counseling experience. Leslie enjoyed working with young people and their families, not only as counselor, but also as teacher and volunteer with various school organizations. She is passionate about helping families learn how to communicate effectively and constructively. 

     

      "All children experience misadventures as they explore the world," says the author. "They can be taught appropriate behavior with love, discipline and encouragement. My goal for writing this book is healthier, happier homes for families."

Ms. Kuerbitz esides in Garland, Texas with her three adopted pups: RosieAnne, Jaz and Lexie! She received a great deal of inspiration from her husband Charlie! Her daughter Jennifer (the real JenPen) is a medical doctor, whose children London and Logan are the much-loved grandchildren and provide many hours of inspiration for Ms. Kuerbitz!
